What is risography?
Risography is a form of stencil printing where each color is printed separately through a master (a kind of stencil) created for each layer. The machine works like a screen printer, and it’s known for its characteristic bold and often imperfect results. The ink used is soy-based, making it a more environmentally friendly option compared to traditional printing methods.

our colors
We have 9 colors available. Riso inks are soy-based and do not conform exactly to any color standards. Inks mix during printing to create middle colors. Riso inks are also slightly transparent and allow for variations in overprint and based on the color of paper they are printed on.

Our workshop is open for those interested in trying risography for their projects. Whether you’re a designer, artist, or anyone with a creative project, we provide the space and tools for you to make your prints. Here’s what you need to do:
- Bring Your Design: Prepare your design in a digital format. You’ll need a separate file for each color you want to print.
- Choose Your Colors: We offer a variety of vibrant, soy-based inks for you to choose from. Select the colors that best suit your project.
- Set Up Your Print: Our team will guide you through the process of setting up your file on the risograph printer and selecting the paper that works best for your design.
- Print Your Masterpiece: Once everything is set up, it’s time to print! The machine will layer your colors one by one to create your unique prints.
- Take It Home: Once the printing is complete, your prints are ready to be picked up. Take them home and enjoy the high-quality, handmade results!
